Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of ReduceSize at reducesize.org. By opening the site or using a tool, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

ReduceSize offers free tools to reduce the size of common files such as PDFs, images, and GIFs. Some pages preview upcoming formats (for example video) and may not include a working compressor yet. Features can change as we improve the product.

Your responsibility

• You must have the right to process any file you open in the tools.
• Do not use the service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive material.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the site, overload it, or bypass fair limits.
• Output quality and final size depend on your file and device. Always check results before submitting them to employers, schools, portals, or anyone else.

Accounts and fees

The core tools are free and do not require an account today. We may add optional features later; paid offerings—if any—will be described clearly before you are charged.

No warranty

The tools and site content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied—including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that a file will meet a third-party size limit, look identical after compression, or process successfully on every device.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, ReduceSize and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of the site or files you create with it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (which is zero for free use).

Availability and changes

We may change, pause, or discontinue features, pages, or the whole site without notice. We may also add fair-use limits if needed to keep the service usable for everyone. Coming-soon pages are informational until a working tool ships.

Intellectual property

Site branding, layout, and original text belong to ReduceSize. You keep rights in your own files. You may not scrape the site in a way that harms service quality or republish our pages as your own product.

Links

The site may link to third-party pages. We are not responsible for their content or policies. Your use of those sites follows their terms.

Privacy

How we handle contact email and site logs is described in the Privacy Policy. That policy is part of how we operate the service alongside these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product grows. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
